dailybell 2020 + + +

was the 13th year in an ongoing project, dedicated to the observation of the sun at every crossing of the horizon and to sharing the awareness of that moment with others (i.e. ring a bell). This year's invitation was for others to witness and share a sunrise or sunset each month. With the onset of covid19, came the mandate to shelter in place. Knowing that we would be at home each evening, we decided to ring a LOUD bell every sunset, marking the day's end to anyone within earshot.

Day 156 Congratulations!

Extra bits of good news today—NO lightning storms today AND my friend Penelope’s niece and her sweetheart got engaged last night. It’s so great to have something wonderful to celebrate. We wish them much happiness going forward. (Did you hear the dove flying by near the end)???
