"Sunset in the Sunset" - NT
Today is the first day since the Summer Solstice that the sun is setting later than the day before. It’s happening. The day is opening - at least at the one end
Day 265 Sheltering in place.
was the 13th year in an ongoing project, dedicated to the observation of the sun at every crossing of the horizon and to sharing the awareness of that moment with others (i.e. ring a bell). This year's invitation was for others to witness and share a sunrise or sunset each month. With the onset of covid19, came the mandate to shelter in place. Knowing that we would be at home each evening, we decided to ring a LOUD bell every sunset, marking the day's end to anyone within earshot.
