November 10, 2020. Sunset 5:01 PM. San Francisco, CA.
“I was a little late for the first time. I’m so sorry. They celebrated on time.”– NT
How wonderful that people showed up to be together at sunset! Hooray!
Thank you, Norman for holding down the fort! It’s good to see Bernie, Mardi and Matt.
I miss you guys.
Day 234 Sheltering in place with friends and neighbors.
was the 13th year in an ongoing project, dedicated to the observation of the sun at every crossing of the horizon and to sharing the awareness of that moment with others (i.e. ring a bell). This year's invitation was for others to witness and share a sunrise or sunset each month. With the onset of covid19, came the mandate to shelter in place. Knowing that we would be at home each evening, we decided to ring a LOUD bell every sunset, marking the day's end to anyone within earshot.
