We met a neighbor from another the block when she swung her bike around after riding past Norman as he was ringing the bell. She said she’d been hearing the bell for a while and was wondering where it was and why it was ringing at a different time every night.
She took a turn giving it a swing and we were all pretty delighted. I hope she comes by again. It seems like we will be here doing this for a long time.
Day 56 - sheltering in place from one end of the street or the other.-- BH
