was the 13th year in an ongoing project, dedicated to the observation of the sun at every crossing of the horizon and to sharing the awareness of that moment with others (i.e. ring a bell). This year's invitation was for others to witness and share a sunrise or sunset each month. With the onset of covid19, came the mandate to shelter in place. Knowing that we would be at home each evening, we decided to ring a LOUD bell every sunset, marking the day's end to anyone within earshot.

Six Feet of Separation Ensemble 2. Day - 12 sheltering in place
April 2, 2020. Sunset 7:34 PM.
San Francisco, CA.
Norman on bell. Mardi Louisell, readings.
Western wind, when wilt thou blow
That the small rain down can rain
Christ, that my love were in my arms
And I in my bed again!”
Jenny Kissed Me- James Henry Leigh Hunt
Jenny kissed me when we met,
Jumping from the chair she sat in;
Time, you thief, who love to get
Sweets into your list, put that in!
Say I'm weary, say I'm sad,
Say that health and wealth have missed me,
Say I'm growing old, but add,
Jenny kissed me.
Day 12- Ringing the big bell out on the sidewalk for as long as we are sheltering in place.
